Energy Co-operatives Ireland funded by Galway County Council for a smart audit scheme by 3cea

Energy Co-operatives Ireland (ECI) were funded by the Climate Action Support Scheme of Galway County Council for what they considered to be a valuable set of audits showing householders of various house types where to carry out energy improvements. ECI worked with their preferred energy auditor (3cea) who carried out the energy audits of 11 different types of houses, offering the best solutions relating to costed measures and the continued improvement of the home’s energy rating.

These homes were representative of the typical domestic buildings across the county of Galway. Following the energy audits, 3cea produced detailed analysis reports which included the BER, costings and recommended actions for each of the 11 homes. Depending on what type of house you own, these examples provide easy to follow advice for you. If followed correctly, the energy audits aim to put money back in your pocket, improve the quality of your health and the comfort of your home.

We would like to thank ECI and Galway County Council for choosing 3cea as the preferred energy auditor for such an exciting project. A special thanks goes out to the homeowners who took part, in what we feel, was a hugely beneficial project.
